Limepoint Fire threatens Cuprum area
Evacuations were ordered for the remote areas of Cuprum and Bear in Adams County as the Limepoint Fire grew to about 18,000 acres as of Wednesday. Council is currently not threatened by the fire, said Jason Engle, a Forest Service public information officer assigned to the fire.
