Straight text classified ads cost $12/week, for 20 words. Words over 20 cost an additional 10 cents/word.

The deadline for ad submissions is Monday by noon for the current week’s Thursday issue.

Straight text classified ads are text only and do not include a box or special formatting and run under the applicable heading on Classifieds page. For information on ads with additional formatting please see the bottom of the page.

To place an ad, please email your ad as you would like it to run to  mccallclassifieds@cherryroad.com.

Our staff will respond with questions and arrange for payment.

We can take a debit or credit card payment over the phone once the ad has been placed. Payment must be made in advance for the ad to run. Payment by check or cash is also accepted and must be received by the deadline.

Businesses can set up an account to be billed and pay by check.

Hand written ads can be dropped to The Star-News office, or placed in the after hours drop slot on the front porch. Payment can be included with the submission in the form of cash or check. We highly recommend emailing or calling with your request as our office hours are limited.
