June 24, 1951 November 24, 2022 Stephen W. Bartlett, 71, of Cascade went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2022.

Steve was the son of Elaine and Bruce Bartlett. Steve spent his childhood farming his family’s 1000acre farm in Caldwell.

He graduated from Valleyview High School and continued his education at Seattle Pacific University, where he made lifelong friends.

He then went on to spend a year and half in Africa where he helped build a mission hospital.

Steve loved his family, adventures and mountain life.

Steve married Paula Smith in 2002 and together they built a life helping women, children and families through difficult times.

Steve loved to raft, garden, go four wheeling and hike, with his family always by his side.

Steve loved praise and worship and could be found in the middle of the night praying.

He spent the last several years training “his boys,” the Rhoades, how to frame, and over his career, has ministered to many men on the job site with life changing results.

Steve had 4 beautiful daughters, Marissa, Madison, Kayla and Hailey; a stepdaughter, Rachel, and stepson, Caleb; grandson, Eli, and granddaughter, Imogen.

Steve’s smile and love for adventure will be missed.

Celebration of life service will be held at Mountain Life Church in McCall on January 7, 2023, at 2 p.m.
