Two vehicles involved in a crash on the S-Bridge on West Roseberry in Donnelly on Jan. 7 block traffic in both directions while Valley County Sheriffs and Donnelly Fire assess the situation and contain leaks. The bridge was blocked for nearly two hours due to the accident. Traffic was blocked when a minivan traveling west at about 15 miles per hour lost control on an icy curve on the bridge and struck an eastbound pickup truck towing a trailer. The accident was reported at about 10:15 a.m. with both lanes open shortly after noon. Two deputies from the Valley County Sheriff's Office responded in addition to ambulances from Donnelly Fire & EMS and the Valley County Road Department to salt the icy road, a VCSO spokesperson said. Names of the drivers and the number of occupants in each vehicle were not released.
