Diana Withen of McCall (pictured at right) received the McCall Heartland Chapter Master Naturalist of the Year Award at the Idaho Master Naturalists bi-annual Rendezvous last month in Boise. Withen was selected for her leadership in a program that develops well-informed volunteers who actively work toward stewardship of Idaho’s natural environment. The McCall Heartland chapter will offer classes in 2026 leading to certification in the spring.
