Crews continued work on the Rainbow Bridge this week, adding steel supports and repairing concrete structures on the underside of the bridge. The supports were required to transfer the load of the bridge to the foundation, officials said. Drivers should expect intermittent closures for 15 minutes at a time Mondays through Fridays, excluding the Fourth of July holiday. The project is expected to finish this fall.
