McCall artist Amy Ruiz unveiled her painting of the Big Heart at the Conservation Day event on Saturday. Ruiz used acrylic paint to create the heart titled “Our Home” which displays the local landscape and the South Fork of the Salmon River. The heart will travel to different locations in Valley and Adams Counties until it is auctioned off to raise funds for Payette Land Trust’s land conservation work.
