Bogdan Monahan pictured at right with his German teacher Dick Stones, has earned four gold medals, Level 1-4, from the American Association of Teachers of German. According to Stones, Monahan is the first student in Idaho to earn four gold medals and also praises Monahan for accomplishing such high levels after only four years of study, with no prior knowledge of the German language. Monahan will take the AP German Language and Culture Exam in May which is administered by College Board. Monahan is also a junior at McCall-Donnelly High School.Courtesy photo/Dick Stones
