BREAKING GROUND-The University of Idaho McCall Outdoor Science School held a groundbreaking on Sept. 24 for a new campus dining hall that would be the “greenest building in Idaho” as planned. The 7,600 square foot building is designed to accommodate the entire campus community at once, whereas the current dining facility—built in the 1930s—can only accommodate about a third of the total campus capacity. Construction is expected to take about two years and cost roughly $6 million. Photo by Max Silverson/The Star-News
