Athena, a 9 year-old musher on Laurie and Trevor Warren’s (Council) team, receives pets from admirers Ember Skoglum, 2, McCall, and Grace Ratliff, 12, McCall, during the Meet the Mushers event at the Ponderosa Center on Saturday afternoon. Athena has been racing since she was two years old and will join the rest of her team for the Idaho Sled Dog Challenge.
