The Willow Fire less than a mile north of Burgdorf Hot Springs burned about 2.5 acres before it was extinguished. The lightning-caused fire was spotted on July 3. One helitack crew, a fire engine, a hot shot crew, rappel crew and four smokejumpers responded to the fire. Significant rain on July 4 helped firefighters control the fire, which was called out on July 6, according to the Payette National Forest. Courtesy of the Payette National Forest
