The Valley County 4-H Hot Dawgs completed their second annual Cascade Strand Cleanup last week. More than a dozen volunteers cleaned up 416 piles of dog waste along the popular dog walking trail. The total is less than half of what the group cleaned up last year. Mazy attributed the improved total to the group’s education initiatives that advise people to clean up after their dogs.
