Evelyn Kam

September 16, 1940-November 11, 2022 Evelyn Kam passed away on Nov. 11, 2022, in Blackfoot at age 82.

Evelyn was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 16, 1940, to Herbert and Ruth Stevenson.

Evelyn grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Latrobe Area Hospital School of Nursing in 1966.

Evelyn began her nursing career at the Cleveland Clinic and retired from the American Red Cross after a career devoted to caring for others.

Evelyn was married to her soul mate, Edward “Eddie” Kam, until his death in 2007.

Evelyn was a devoted attendee at church and was passionate about teaching Women’s Bible Study, which she often hosted in her home.

She was a skilled and avid gardener who also loved birds, collecting depression glassware and reading.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Christine Graff of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania; her son David (Tamara) Kam of Carnation, Washington; grandchildren Adrian “AJ” Kam, Saskia Bock, Sebastian Bock, Liv Graff and Jake Graff; brother David (Regina) Stevenson of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania; sister Judith Albornoz of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
