Vandals to keep streaming games

McCall-Donnelly will continue to stream athletic events online after year one was deemed a success.Vandal Activities Director Conor Kennedy said the school was able to generate revenue by streaming athletic events online via a Hudl service and charging viewers a fee to watch.

M-D Track advances in ‘Top Team’ Contest

The McCall-Donnelly boys track and field team is among eight still alive during a friendly team-versus-team, bracket-style competition hosted by Idahosports.com to try and determine a high school “Team of the Year” for the state of Idaho.The Vandals ousted the 5A Boise boys swim team during online polling last week, garnering 76 percent of votes cast to survive and advance.

Vandals nab top SRV award

McCall-Donnelly athletes and coaches have yet another reason to celebrate as the 2023-24 school year comes to a close.The Vandals have won the Robinson Trophy, an award given to the top athletic school in the Snake River Valley Conference each year.It is the second time the Vandals have won the award since joining the SRV back in 2020 when the McCall school moved up from the 2A classification to 3A due to growing enrollment numbers.

A handful of McCall-Donnelly coaches were honored by the Third District Coaches Association this spring.Amber Green, head coach for the Vandal netters, received the Snake River Valley Coach of the Year award for volleyball.
