The Valley County Emergency Operations Center at 108 W. Spring Street in Cascade was renamed after former sheriff Patti Bolen. Valley County officials held a ceremony at the building on Monday to officially rename the facility. Bolen began her career at the Valley County Sheriff’s office in 1985 and served as Sheriff from 2005 until her retirement in June 2023. She was the first female sheriff in Idaho history.
