Wolf Creek Fire nears containment

Containment on the 1,154-acre Wolf Creek Fire increased to 61% as of Wednesday, with fire managers hopeful to contain the blaze soon.“We will look to button it up completely as best we can in the coming days,” said Forest Service Public Information Officer Tim Phelps.The fire about five miles west of Donnelly atop West Mountain was started by lightning on July 24.

Teens burn Harshman Skatepark restroom

Two teenagers have been charged with arson in connection to a fire last week in one of the bathrooms at Harshman Skatepark in McCall, according to the McCall Police Department.McCall Fire and EMS responded to the fire at 128 Idaho St.
