The American Legion in Cascade will host dinners Fridays at 6:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 60. Dinners are open to the public.
Story Time at the library is held the second Wednesday of each month from at 4 p.m., all ages of kids and their families are welcome to attend.

The chaos in government caused by Trump’s and Musk’s “Thugocracy” strategy designed to befuddle us is disconcerting, difficult to follow, and upsetting. Thugocrat describes Trump approach to bargaining by threat, inuendo, lies, and illegally using force in the guise of national emergencies. Trump’s and Musk’s behavior reminds me of the quote from His Burial Too by Catherine Aird, “If…you can’t be a good example, then you’ll just have to be a horrible warning.” Being a horrible warning is the only thing Trump and his incompetent minions appear to be able to do with any degree of competence.
