In a landmark 2-1 decision Dec. 23, Valley County Commissioners Maupin and Hasbrouck approved a high density CUP application for the River Fork Ranch subdivision next to Lake Fork Creek, near Spink Lane and Idaho 55. The plan calls for 31 wells and 31 septic systems on 1 to 1.78 acre lots. The western border of the sub-division is the edge of the FEMA designated flood plain of Lake Fork Creek.
