A $10,000 donation last week to build a skatepark in New Meadows in memory of Rory and Sara Mehen marked the first major donation of the Brundage Community Fund.The charitable fund, founded by Brundage Mountain Resort last year, announced the donation last Friday during a concert series at the resort’s base area.“When it came time to make our first significant donation, the Mehen Memorial Skate Park was a natural choice,” Brundage Mountain General Manager Ken Rider said.“Rory and Sara epitomized the community spirit,” Rider said.
