Four athletes from the McCall Winter Sports Club placed first in their divisions at the second annual Jesse O Tam Jam freeride event at Tamarack Resort over the weekend. The freeride event was presented by the MWSC as part of the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association’s junior regional competition on Saturday and Sunday. The event was renamed this year as a tribute to Jesse Orsatti, “a MWSC athlete and coach who is no longer with us,” said MWSC Freeride Coach Kerry Lofy.Club athletes Scout Weiseth, Kai Tennyson, Steel Messenger and Winzer Albright took first in their divisions.“Scout and Kai both took first place in the U12 divisions mostly for their fast control smooth skiing ability,” Lofy said.“We are a young and newer team with a ton of potential and growth,” he said.
