Green delivers in Vandal victory
Gabi Green delivered a double- double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and the McCall-Donnelly girls basketball team picked up a key Snake River Valley Conference victory by knocking off Homedale, 52-29, last week at the M-D gym.
McCall Nordic competes in Utah
McCall Nordic and Biathlon Ski Club racer Taylor Nalder found herself on the podium in both races at the Soldier Hollow Super Qualifier in her first year competing in the U16 category over the weekend.

Pietri wins at Bodily Memorial
McCall Winter Sports Club U12 alpine racer Taryn Pietri took the women’s overall win in the 78th-annual Chris Bodily Memorial 4-Way races over the weekend. The races were held Friday to Sunday at the Little Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain Resort and hosted by the McCall Winter Sports Club.
Snow bikers to race
Snow bikers can compete in the first round of the NASBA Pure Adrenaline Motorsports Snow Bike Series on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at Beaver Creek in Cascade.

Medical Center cancels expansion
Costs were double the expected amount The Cascade Medical Center will not add a temporary 5,000-square- foot building on the east side of the current hospital after cost estimates were more than twice the expected price. Trustees for the CMC health district had approved spending up to $1.5 million in June but a new estimate for the work came in at about $3 million.
