A vision for Riverfront Park

Draft parks plan aired to McCall council A 50,000-squarefoot recreation center, a multi-purpose field and pickle ball courts are among amenities that could be added to Riverfront Park in McCall, the McCall City Council was told last week. Council members received an update during a work session last Friday on a Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan being drafted for the council to consider adopting next spring.

Thank you, Trek supporters Thank you to those who supported the Trek the North Pole. It was a magical morning in Ponderosa State Park for the return of Trek to the North Pole with nearly 300 participants showing up to find Santa! What Christmas can be

I recall reading a Christmas story once about an “air tree.” It was the story of the family struggling due to job loss who found a way to make the holiday special. As I remember it, a mother looking to provide a Christmas tree for her young daughters, and with the family unable to afford to purchase one, came up with a creative solution.
