June 13, 1941-December 13, 2022 Mark Alexander “Alec” Robinson III of McCall peacefully passed away Tuesday morning, December 13, 2022. Mark was born in Boise on June 13, 1941.
McCall-Donnelly’s Cole Burtenshaw and Griffin Good both earned recognition as the 3A all-Idaho football team was announced. Both players made the second team at the defensive back position.

Fifteen-year-old Luke Bruce of McCall refined his freestyle skiing skills by jumping into a massive pit of foam cubes at an indoor training facility at Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado. After practicing in the foam pit, Luke then tried a new trick in the resort’s terrain park, landing it on the first try on snow, said McCall Winter Sports Club Program Director Erik Fisher.
Cascade Schools will ask voters in March to renew the district’s $650,000 two-year supplemental levy that the district relies on to provide elective classes and buses for school sports. Seeking a new levy in the March 14 election was unanimously approved by the Cascade Schools Board of Trustees in a meeting on Wed.
