Bitcoin mining business pulls application

A permit to operate a cryptocurrency site about seven miles south of McCall was withdrawn before it could go before the Valley County Planning and Zoning Commission. The applicant, Aleksandr Galenko of Boise, had proposed to operate a cryptocurrency mining business with about 20 computers in an existing garage at his property at 219 Ashton Lane.

Storage approved south of Donnelly

A storage facility with about 97,000 square feet of space in five buildings less thanamilesouthofDonnelly was approved by the Valley County Planning and Zoning Commission last Thursday. Shoemaker Donnelly Storage includes plans for five buildings on about 27 acres to the north of Eagle Lane and west of Old State Road.
