Penny, Vandals deliver late in win over 4A Caldwell
Luke Scott’s 16 points led three Vandals in double figures and the McCall-Donnelly boys basketball team made plays late to knock off Caldwell, 54-47, last week on the road. Sam Penny added 15 points and Rylan Pate scored 12 points as the Vandals punched above their weight to defeat the 4A Cougars in a non-conference game played in Caldwell.

Feeding wild foxes does more harm than good
Feeding wild foxes might seem like a helpful act of charity, but it could spread a deadly disease affecting the animals in the area, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game warned. Fish and Game officials have recently seen an increase in reports of foxes with mange in and around McCall, regional wildlife manager Regan Berkley said.
Nampa man found after night in Ponderosa Park
A 21-year-old Nampa man is alright after spending Monday night lost in Ponderosa State Park without shelter. The man, whose name was not released, left a home where he was staying with family members on Reedy Lane in McCall around 10:30 p.m.

Incremental change
