Senior Kyler Nitzel was named Most Valuable Player as the Cascade volleyball team handed out awards following the season. Nitzel was also recognized for collecting the most kills, most blocks and most digs.

American Rescue Plan Act money now totals nearly $9 million Valley County officials on Monday met to consider what to do with an additional $6.75 million in federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Commissioners recently learned the county would receive half of the money this year and the rest next year.
