Adopt new no-wake zones by May

Valley County officials should set a goal of adopting new no-wake zones for Payette Lake and Lake Cascade by the end of next May to provide certainty for boaters and to put an end to five years of wrangling over what to do about destructive waves generated by wake boats.

Society better off with socialism, capitalism as combined system I think it is interesting that our founding fathers put together a nation that incorporates both of these political concepts that has allowed our nation, the United States of America, to become the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world. The fact that we have lots of natural resources also helps.

Warren’s 15 kills keep Vandal netters alive in 3A District III play

Senior Claire Warren came through with 15 kills as the McCall-Donnelly volleyball team survived a 3A District III Tournament elimination game with a 25-20, 25-14, 25-17 victory over visiting Homedale on Tuesday. The Vandals host Parma today at 6 p.m. at the M-D gym, with the winner advancing to a state play-in game set for Saturday in Twin Falls. Gabi Green added eight kills during Tuesday’s action.
