Costumed crusaders and other Halloween revelers can haunt the annual McCall Trunk or Treat on Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alpine Village parking lot. Community members and businesses can sign up as a trunk host and join the competition for the Best Dressed vehicle. Set up will begin at 3 p.m. Candy donations are also needed. McManus wins gold, Speirs silver at 3A district X-C meet

McManus wins gold, Speirs silver at 3A district X-C meet Jack McManus and George Speirs finished atop the boys field and the Vandal girls won a team title as the McCall-Donnelly cross country team competed at the 3A District III championships last week in Homedale. Mc-Manus, a senior, won his third straight district championship, course in 16 minutes, 47 seconds.
