CASCADE Fire Chief - Cascade Rural Fire Protection District, (starting salary depending on experience $48,000 to $50,000). This position provides effective, professional leadership, positioning the Cascade Rural Fire Protection District to meet the current and future needs through appropriate technologies and services. Must have experience in preparing budgets and maintaining equipment. The work is performed under the general direction of the Cascade Rural Fire District Board of Commissioners. Supervision is exercised over the work of the fire department, rescue and emergency medical service staff, both full time and volunteer staff. The ability to establish good working relationships with subordinates, peers and supervisors is a must. Must have a strong team oriented approach and serve as a professional mentor to department members. Requires responsible firefighting experience in aspect of fire operation, hazardous material, and emergency medical services.
