The "Little Giants": Star-News Classified Ads
The Star-News classified section unites local buyers and sellers like no other form of advertising can.

You may submit your classified advertisement online. Just fill out the form below. Or, if you prefer, you can contact us by phone at (208) 634-2123, or by email: starclass@citlink.net. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Payment must accompany order or be received in the office at 1000 First Street in McCall by noon, Tuesday. Visa, MC, Discover, American Express accepted.
Classified rates: $8.00 for the first 20 words, 10 cents per word thereafter, per weekly insertion.
Classified deadline: noon, Tuesday for that week's issue. This deadline is firm, we do not have a "Late Classified" Category.

Checklist:
• Make sure your telephone number is included in the ad text, if desired
• If you are selling or renting an item or property, we recommend including the price in your ad
• Spell out the words. The Star-News charges by the word, not the line, so abbreviations don't save you any money. They just make your ad harder to read (Exception: OBO for "or best offer" is OK)
• Save yourself money by not leading off your ad with the words FOR SALE, or FOR RENT. That is already taken care of by the category (for instance HOUSES FOR SALE)

To estimate your ad cost (per insertion)
• Count the number of words and numbers in your ad (a telephone number is one word). If the total is 20 or under, your ad will be $8.00 per insertion. If the total is above 20, then subtract 20 from your total and multiply the difference by 10¢.
Example: a 25 word ad will be $8.50 per insertion (20 words at the $8.00 flat rate and 5 more words at 10¢ each, or 50¢)
• Be aware that our count might differ from yours, so the actual ad charge may be slightly different.
