Checklist:

• Make sure your telephone number is included in the ad text, if desired
  If you are selling or renting an item or property, we recommend including the price in your ad
  Spell out the words. The Star-News charges by the word, not the line, so abbreviations don't save you any money. They just make your ad harder to read (Exception: OBO for "or best offer" is OK)
  
• Save yourself money by not leading off your ad with the words FOR SALE, or FOR RENT. That is already taken care of by the category (for instance HOUSES FOR SALE)
